Ray Biggar holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Business Administration and has over 30 years experience in the design, operation and management of temperature-controlled facilities. He has held positions as Vice President Engineering and President of a cold storage company with 21 locations and 2 million cubic meters storage capacity in North America.
Site planning, facility design, construction management and operational analysis for food processing, freezing, storage and distribution are his consulting specialties. Recent consulting assignments have involved ammonia leak, fire and rack failure investigations, new warehouse layouts and designs, due diligence for acquisitions, management analysis and strategic planning assignments. He has been involved in projects in countries like Vietnam, Iran, Kuwait, China, Lagos, India and Nigeria and has also contributed to cold chain development in Turkey, Bulgaria and Greece.
